Allows for easier adapting to ev14 style connector with the 6" length of wire, allows for clocking of the injectors and reduced connector height that the other style of "direct" plug adapters has issues with. Compatible with aftermarket EV14 style injectors like the very commonly used "550CC injectors"
Also works with other makes and models with ev1 injectors from the factory looking to run ev14 injectors. EV1 to EV6 also works with these (EV6 is same connector as EV14).
