Torque Factory Spec. ARP Main Bearing Cap Stud Kit,  Audi S4 / A6 / Allroad with 2.7t Different AND Same Length Studs

TF part number: 078 103 055 KTF 
Description: Installing other kits and clearancing the upper pan and oil pump motivated Torque Factory to research changing the lengths of the studs.
After examining both early and late engine blocks, torquing and align honing multiple blocks and consultation with ARP this kit was finalized.
The hardware is manufactured by ARP in the USA out of 8740 chrome moly steel.  
Fits both early “equal length” and late “unequal length” 2.7 Audi Engines replacing 078103039F and 078103039G bolts.

OEM Fastener 078 103 039 G (short)
1998 - 2004 A6 (C5, including All Road) All with with 2.7T 1997 - 2002 S4/RS4 (B5) All with 2.7T

  • Heavy duty replacement for both early “equal length” and late “unequal length” 2.7 Audi V6 main bearing cap fasteners.

  • Fits all 2.7T  engines.

  • Includes high strength side bolts.

  • Optional larger diameter high strength side bolts (180 KSi). 

  • This kit does not require any clearancing of the upper oil pan or oil pump!

  • Replaces 078103039F and 078103039G.

  • Less expensive than factory hardware and re-useable.

  • Larger side bolt option requires some minor drilling and tapping of the center main caps.
