AUDI RS4 / S4 B5 / A6 C5 ALLROAD 2.7 TTE680 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGERS 

Introducing here what many will love. Designed to give a great blend of power, response, and ease of fitment, and our first step utilizing THE 08 turbine housings (k08) for greater flow and power. TTE680 Performance turbochargers can offer big HP with the right hardware and software. These really will offer a great balance of high power and response.

Engineered & Enhanced


TTE680 uses RS4 compressor covers that we CNC machine in-house to an optimum clearance to allow fitment and maintain the efficiency of a larger more advanced billet TTE2280X Extended tip compressor wheels, inducer 45.1mm exducer 59.4mm. We also as standard CNC mill the air inlet port on the compressor housing to remove a lip right before the compressor wheel to smooth the transition to the intake pipes to maximize performance.


The 2280X compressor wheel design features promote greater airflow using a low inertia wheel that performs like a wheel of even greater size and mass. Extended tip technology enables the user to have faster spool-up at lower engine speeds while providing a high boost with less heat for powerful top-end performance.

The turbine and shaft are TTE 9BLADE  items with a special blade design thus increasing gas flow and so reducing back pressure and lowering exhaust gas temperatures, allowing safer higher boost levels vs RS6 Clipped we did use.

THE 0.8 Exhaust turbine housing (K08)with there larger volute allows much more gas flow and is CNC machined to match the TTE 9blade turbine

Special profile 360 deg high-performance motorsport journal bearings are fitted, to remain durable at higher loads with no loss in transient response.

Actuators used are uprated sprung OE units fitted with our reinforced clamps for trouble-free operation. 


Equilibrium

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to becoming a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequently, great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document.

ATTENTION

These turbochargers use K04 RS4 B5 compressor housings RS4 B5 specific turbo intake pipes are required. The turbine housings are RS6 Fitting specific, so a flange on the downpipe is needed to match. They do not work with RS4 B5 specific downpipes but these can be adapted with the use of an RS6 flange.

PLEASE NOTE: IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ANYONE CONSIDERING FITTING THIS TURBO UPGRADE HAS THE RS4/S4 B5 UPGRADE OIL PUMP INSTALLED.
