TTE380 + UPGRADE TURBOCHARGERS for Audi B5 S4-RS4 2000-2002 2.7T and 2000-2004 C5 A6 2.7T

TTE380 is the hybrid performance plug & play upgrade turbocharger step for the S4 B5 2.7T.  RS4 K04 power and more with great spool and response, but fitting as K03 so no extra costs or hassle.

Engineered & Enhanced

To make a pair of TTE380 Turbo’s, we start out with Genuine BorgWarner S4 K03 units and change the original cast compressors for larger and more efficient milled billet type compressor wheel that features extended tip technology and CNC mill the compressor cover to optimum gap to match the new compressor larger profile. Clipped and lightened turbine for greater gas flow. We CNC modify the original compressor cover inlet, for increased airflow.

The clipping of the turbine is a special TTE grinding process to the turbine blade tips. Curved to alleviate stress from the process. Clipping reduces blade area thus increasing gas flow and so reducing back pressure and lowering exhaust gas temperatures, allowing a safer higher boost level. This process also gives a secondary advantage of removing some material, lightening an already lightened turbine thus reducing the rotational mass and improving the moment of inertia.

Special profile 360 deg high-performance motorsport Genuine BorgWarner journal bearing system is fitted, to remain durable at higher loads with no loss in transient response.

The actuators used are Genuine BorgWarner OE units for trouble-free operation.

Equilibrium

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to becoming a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequently, great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled, and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance test result document.
